The C57BL/6J-Chr#PWD/Ph panel contains 28 strains in which individual chromosomes and mitochondrial DNA from the PWD/Ph inbred strain (pure Mus musculus musculus origin) were introgressed by repeated backcrosses into the classical mouse laboratory strain C57BL/6J (mostly of Mus musculus domesticus).
